2020 Youth Advocates
Tristania Dodd is currently a senior at Colony High School in Palmer, Alaska. A previous scholarship receiver she was able to get back into, and continue her passion of dance and performing. This led her to building the confidence in compete in not one but two state pageants! Earning the titles of Miss Teen Alaska United America 2019 & Miss Alaska Hostess High 2019. She is an advocate for believing in yourself and the strength of our younger generations, and herself through her amazing compassion and drive to help others. One of her favorite quotes "If you never did you should. These things are fun and fun is good" - Dr. Suess. Tristania is proud to be the youth advocate leader for Build Them Up Ak llc and to help this part of the program grow.

Coralee Wade age 7
Coralee is in 1st grade this year and learning Spanish. She dances, cheers and tumbles at Sonjas Studio of the Arts. Coralee recently earned the title of Miss Alaska Hostess Elementary 2021!!
She likes to be helpful and teach her two younger siblings new things. Coralee often attends events and volunteers with her mom throughout the year. Recently she founded her own campaign Let Your Light Shine ~ helping all children lights shine bright!

Gabbi Morton age 9
Gabbi is 9 years old. She enjoys being in pageants with her friends and earned the title, Miss Alaska Elementary 2020! and will be competing in the very first national elementary pageant! She is highly involved in cheerleading with the Alaska Athletics Frost team and the Pop Warner Eagle River Panthers cheer team. She began an anti-bullying project called Color them with Kindness a year ago and has handed out over 500 Color them with Kindness coloring gifts. Gabbi enjoys volunteering with her brother and parents in the community. When not participating in pageantry, cheer and volunteering in her community, she enjoys trampoline time with her brother, teaching her mom how to fix her makeup and hair, and spending time with her friends and puppy. " I chose to become a Build Them Up Youth Advocate because she likes to help other kids and support her big brother when he is involved in activities."
JJ Morton age 13
JJ is 13 years old. He is active in his school wrestling and track teams, and plays Pop Warner football with the Eagle River Panthers. JJ has been a part of the Fur Rendezvous Rondy Bear Team and was named Rondy Kid of the Year in February 2020. He also participates in over 500 hours a year volunteering in his community with his sister and parents. He enjoys fishing, going to the shooting range, and cooking! (he is a Pampered Chef representative), jumping on the trampoline with his sister, and playing with his new puppy and friends.

Arabella Moore age 9
Arabella is in 4th grade and enjoys helping others in any way that she can! A 2019 youth summit award winner for er community service and recently earning the title of Miss Alaska Elementary 2021, she is a motivated young girl and would like to be a makeup artist when she grows up. Arabella is very excited to bring attention to the programs that make a difference in their community like Build Them Up AK and is elated to be chosen as a youth advocate! "I chose to be a youth advocate because I believe in being the change you want to see in the world (Ghandi) and I am always thrilled to help out my peers and community."
